“To save the world, one garment at a time, stylishly.”
This is BaeBeeBoo’s brand ethos and is something we whole-heartedly believe in, especially at the present time.
Needless to say, the Fashion Industry is indeed one of the largest growing industries in the world and has progressed to a popular concept of Fast fashion. Fast fashion’s ability to allow the latest fashion trends to be much less costly and therefore, more “reachable”, is what makes it famous today. However, we must remember how this is affecting the world: the price the environment, and the people behind the scenes have to pay, where the employees are exploited and unfairly treated. I’m sure this is far from what we want our children to witness and experience, growing up.
So how do we, “..save the world, one garment at a time, stylishly”? Here at BaeBeeBoo, we do our share by giving back to society. A portion of the profits from our ‘Bae’ kaftans goes to the New Light Foundation which has been our beloved partner since the very beginning. We also make sure that our kaftans are beautifully hand-sewn by women in Jaipur, giving them jobs, to allow them to provide and care for their families. What’s more is that our kaftans last a long time as they’re made to grow on your little ones slowing down the rate of disposal, which makes it environmentally friendly. What's there not to love about the brand and what it stands for?
